All clay pieces mus be glazed by Friday, May 16th
6th GradeWe have finished our clay vases and students did a wonderful job with them. A few students were not able to finish glazing. If you are one of them, you may stay after school or come in during advisory. All glazing must be completed by the 16th of May. Students have learned about Jose Posada, a 19th century Mexican illustrator. His illustrations contain skeletons from the Days of the Dead celebration. We drew skeletons in proportion, filling the background with textures and patterns. Tuesday we will begin an Islamic art unit where we will create a print in a radially symmetrical pattern.
