Yearbook selections
The 8th grade graphic design class finished creating designs for this years yearbook cover. As always, it was not without drama and the end results are wonderful. The winning designs are:

Lakeshore Middle School has 9 works at the Buchanan Arts Center show. The works need to be architecturally linked. 8th graders Kimberlyn Tyson, Michael McCraner, and Morgan Matlac have their Victorian house designs exhibited. 7th grade students Lauren Cook and Calab Angelo have their Surreal cities there and 6th graders Noah Knezic, Chiara Thrum, Mason Gardiner and Brenda Rosa are showcasing their Greek inspired column vases. The show runs through January 4th.

If the food is still in the wrapper they will be able to eat it in class. Upcoming Due Dates:
Graphic DesignBesides finishing up the yearbook we have been working on other projects. We split up into groups to create a product that we had to create a name, tagline, poster and package for. Some of them were quite ingenious. We just learned about silk screening and will begin a stop action animation unit. We also had 6 students who worked on some 3D software an created work that can be copied onto a 3D printer. Upcoming Due Dates:
